37th Annual Golden Gate Headlands Marathon 2022: Beer City The 2022 Half Marathon will be held at San Francisco’s Presidio, in Sausalito, CA. on Saturday, March 26. After the start time of 8:00 AM, runners have six hours to complete the course, which means they’ll need to keep a pace of at most (13:45 minutes) per mile for the full marathon & (27:30 minutes) per mile for the half marathon.
There are 2 aid & water stations laid out along and the course at mile markers 5 and 10 race organizers strongly encourage participants to bring their own water with them for the run. This Marathon is a single 13.1-mile loop that runners in the half marathon run once. Those who want to run a full marathon run 26.2-mile 2 times. The marathon will be quite enjoyable for the amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge & the San Francisco Bay as well as the picturesque coastline.
